All content published on this website—including text, website copy, nursery logos, graphics, images, downloadable registration forms, curriculum descriptions, and layout—is the intellectual property of Single Steps Nurseries (comprising Single Steps Nurseries Ltd and Single Steps Nurseries Liss Ltd) and is protected by UK copyright and trade mark laws. You may download or print content for personal, non-commercial parent reference only. Commercial reproduction, redistribution, or modification without our express written consent is strictly prohibited.

Accuracy of information & website availability

While we make every effort to ensure that session times, fee schedules, funding explanations, and nursery information on this website are accurate and up to date, website content is provided for general guidance only. Single Steps Nurseries reserves the right to review fees, update session availability, or modify educational policies at any time without prior notice.

Summary of commercial nursery Terms & Conditions

For parents registering a child for a nursery place at our Liss or Medstead settings, full legally binding contractual terms are set out on our official Nursery Registration Forms. Key commercial terms governing nursery places include:

Operational year & invoicing: Both Medstead and Liss settings open 51 weeks per year. Fees are calculated and payable across this full 51-week operational period.

Payment & late fees: Fees are payable one calendar month in advance on the 1st of each month. Late payments past the 15th of the month may incur a £10 per day administrative late fee and risk place cancellation.

Notice period: A full calendar month’s written notice is required to remove a child or reduce booked sessions. Giving less than one month’s notice incurs full fees for original sessions.

Start date revisions: Once a place is confirmed, start dates may be changed once at no cost with 2 months’ notice. Subsequent start date changes forfeit the deposit.

Registration fee & deposit: A £100 Registration Fee (refundable upon withdrawal) and a £300 Deposit (refundable when leaving, but non-refundable if a booked place is cancelled prior to starting) are required on acceptance.

Opening hours & late collection: Opening hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm (Liss/Medstead; early drop-off 7:45am Liss). Collections after 6:00pm incur late fees charged at £7 per 5 minutes.

Government funding & extra-curriculars: EYE funding is offered stretched over 51 weeks (approx. 20 hours/week over 2 days minimum). A £2.50 fee per funded hour applies for extra-curricular activities/resources (Dough Disco, Boogie Mites, Sing & Sign, Forest School visits). Daily meal fees apply (£10.50 full day / £7.50 half day) unless complying with our Packed Meals Policy.

Limitation of liability & governing law

Single Steps Nurseries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. These Terms of Service and any website disputes are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
